I Heart Faces Black & White {March 21012} Photo Challenge

I Heart Faces is now doing a monthly photo challenge. The challenge for this month is a beautiful B&W. I took this picture of my friends daughter a few months ago. I just love it for so many reasons. She was such a good, little model! She really looked into the camera, she has such strong eyes for such a little kid. I love her wind blown hair, I even love her little chapped lips. I love everything about this photo and I hope you do to.

Edit me challenge 2012- week 6!

I came in 1st!!!

Another edit me challenge! I just thought this picture was too cute not to work on it. I went for an aged look this time. I cropped it to make her more of the focal point. Used a few textures to warm up her skin and give it an aged look, then added the frame to complete the look!

Edit me challenge 2012- week 5!

Since I had so much fun with last weeks Edit Me Challenge I thought I would do this weeks. I love this photo! What a beautiful place! I wish I lived near something like this!

Here is the original. It is really beautiful already!

For my edit, I cropped it to look like a panaroma. I used two textures in overlay mode to change the colors. Then I did a fake tilt-shift just for fun. I hope you like it, let me know.

Edit me challenge - week 4!

Thought I would have some fun editing this cute photo taken by Ashley Sisk. I enlarged it because I thought his eyes needed a place to land instead of looking outside the frame. I also wanted to apply the rule of thirds for more symmetry.

I use Paint Sop Pro X2 so it's hard for me to tell you what I did. I can say I blended the original photo against a white background so I could extend it. Then I added some textures in overlay mode and hardlight to add depth and contrast. Lastly I added the quote because I thought it was cute. To see more great edits or to play along head on over to:
