Continuing on with my pictures from Ireland!

The Creamery Bar. This was the first place we had lunch in. It was really cute and right next door to the Bunratty Castle.

We stopped in the town of Adare. It had many cute cottages with thatched roofs. This cottage is even for rent if anyone is interested!

Cute shops in Adare!

Another scenic view from the bus.

A windmill in Ireland! Can you believe there are palm trees too, and of course I didn't get a picture of one!

Our third hotel. The Skellig Hotel in Dingle

The gray skys made for some pretty photos!

Somewhere on the Ring of Kerry! That area is simply beautiful!

Tourists.... well us anyway!

I forgot what this is called but they say it looks like President Lincoln lying down.

Well that's all for today. I still have more!

We used CIE Tours for our trip to Ireland

Our trip was with CIE Tours. It was a 10 day, 9 night trip. I wasn't sure what to expect with a tour but I have to say they were very professional and it was run very well. I would recommend them to anyone!

Our driver was Tom Keane, he was funny, smart (like this guy knew everything there was to know about irish history), interesting, caring and very good at his job. Here he is on the right, with the entertainment on the trip, Cahal Dunne. Cahal is an irish singer and he was pretty good even though I had not heard of him before the trip.

Tom driving us in the rain.... it rained a lot while we were on the bus!

The people of Ireland are very proud of their homes and most had lovely flowers on the windowsills.

This was an old church and graveyard in Connemara

I loved all the brightly colored houses!

I can't believe I have been home for almost a month and a half already! Time goes by so quick lately. I still have plenty more pictures to post so check back soon.

More stunning views from Ireland!

So if you haven't noticed Ireland is a BEAUTIFUL country. Ten days was not nearly enough time for me to take all the photographs I would love to have taken! Here are a bunch more of some more of the beautiful views!

This was a door at Knappogue Castle. We had a dinner banquet and show there.

The view in front of the castle

Another shot of thatched roofs in Bunratty Folk Park

We passed this golf course and it had cows all over it! They all walk when they play golf in Ireland, unlike America where we all like to ride in carts.

This remains of a castle was right next to hole on the course. All castle ruins are preserved in Ireland, they can not be torn down. I loved seeing them all over the landscape!

This was our second hotel. The Raddison Blu Hotel in Galway. It was the most modern place we stayed.

The tour bus drove all oversouthern Ireland and stopped at certain places for us to take pictures. If I had been smart I would have taken some notes on where we were. Look at that house! Can you imagine living there, what a view!

More great views!

Sheep are ALL over ireland. We saw some horses too but I didn't get any pictures of them. Apparently they raise pigs too but they are mostly in the north so we didn't see any.

Baaah!

Ok, again, do you see that house and that view????

I still have lots more photos so keep checking back!

The Cliffs of Moher ~ Ireland

The Cliffs of Moher is one of the biggest attractions in Ireland. Since the weather can be so bad in Ireland many people can get to the Cliffs and not be able to see anything. It was alittle coludy when we arrived and the fog started to roll in as we left but luckily I was able to get a few shots of this natural wonder!

It really is beautiful!

Seriously, have you ever seen a more beautiful place? I really could live there and look at this view for the rest of my life!

More from my trip to Ireland!

Another interesting thing in Bunratty Folk park was this old church. I'm pretty sure it was called McNamara Church.

Here is a shot of the inside

This is a narrow stairway in Bunratty Castle

This is a street in the park

This is an actually street in Ireland and very typical of what they look like in a small town.

I'll post more tomorrow!
