Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

Another week has gone by already! I was lucky to get all the items this week!

First ~ Texture - I went with an applied texture to my picture.

Second ~ Fog - I was lucky we had fog this week and I took this picture before I even know fog was a prompt. I love the way it came out. This is the view from my deck.

Third ~ Button - Just a button on my daughters shirt.

Fourth ~ Beverage - A cup of tea in the evening is really relaxing.

Fifth ~ Seventies - I went with a current picture and tried to make it look like it was from the 70's.
That's it for this week. To see more great pictures or to play along head on over to:

I ♥ Faces "Innocent Wonder" photo challenge!

This weeks challenge is called Innocent Wonder. I took this picture of my daughter over the summer. She is 13 years old in this photo. I hope she gets to stay innocent a few more years. Kids today seem to want to grow up so fast, I hope she realizes how quickly childhood goes and that she has the rest of her life to be a grown-up.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

It's that time again. I missed a few of the prompts, but I did get a few good shots this week.

First ~ Memories. This picture reminds me of a wet spring day with all it's beautiful color but it's really a bush in front of my house. It stays red all year and luckily we have no snow on the ground. Living in middle Georgia has its perks!

Second ~ Silhouette. This is from last month, I wasn't able to get a decent shot this week, but I really love the way this one turned out.

Third ~ Doorway. This is another from last month and it's not technically a doorway, it's more like a window. It was in an old fort we visited and this was a spot where the soldiers would stick their guns out.

Forth ~ Reflection. I love the reflective quality of this glass ornament. You can't see me in it because of the cracked glass surface.

Fifth ~ Silver. Another one of my new glass baubles, found at Hobby Lobby, I love them! I have a few in a basket piled up on my diningroom table.

Well those are my shots for the week! To see more or play along head on over to:

I ♥ Faces "Winter Wonderland" photo challenge!

This weeks challenge over at I heart faces is winter wonderland. Well living in middle Georgia means we don't really get much snow if any, but it does get cold! I took this picture of my daughter a few weeks ago. It was a cold but beautiful afternoon!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

Well it's that time again! Scavenger Hunt Sunday! I missed last week because I just had so much going on, but I am ready this week! So here we go:

{first} A different view~ This is my cat Booey, I took a different view of him by laying on the floor to take his picture.

{Second} View looking up ~ This is what you would see if you were looking up into my bathtub faucet! Notice my kitty The Bean, is very interested in what her momma is doing.

{Third} Abstract ~ This is also a view looking up at my bathroom mirror and above it you can see my lights.

{Fourth} Hair ~ Ok, originally I pictured a great picture of my daugher with her hair flowing in the wind, but yea, that never happened. So, you get a nice shot of my old, grubby, hair brush! Honestly, I should be bald with all the hair that is in this thing, and I see a lot of it is gray, maybe that's a good thing as it's pulling some of it out!

{Fifth} Half ~ I went with a picture I did for the Pioneer Woman contest "food". It's half an orange, cut in half again. I really like this picture!

Well that's it for my pictures this week! To see more or play along, head on over to:

I ♥ Faces "Best Face shot of 2010" photo challenge!

The challenge over at iheartfaces this week is for your best face shot of 2010. This was really hard to narrow down to just one image but after looking at all the face shots I had, I decided on this one of my daughter. I just love the feel of it, it seems sort of mysterious and lonely and I feel like her eyes look deep into your soul.
